Yup. The Scarlet and the Black is a great film telling a true story form the dark days of WWII in Rome. I agree, Peck and Plummer play their roles very well.
It's so much fun to watch the two of them go back and forth, Chris. Really great stuff. (And I've always had a soft spot for Ken Colley, thanks to his work on the Star Wars franchise and his fabulous turn as Ben Gunn in "Return to Treasure Island.")
